Drew Frey and Scott McKaig begin positions with the WindSwell Foundation.
WindSwell Foundation is excited to have welcomed two new members to the team in recent weeks. Drew Frey is taking on the role of Communication and Events Coordinator, and Scott McKaig joins the staff as the foundation’s Accountant.
Drew will help highlight the work of WindSwell and its community partners through the foundation’s website, social media feeds and monthly newsletter. He’s turning his attention to nonprofit and disability advocacy after nearly six years as a local television anchor/reporter with FOX 55. You can reach out to Drew with any questions or suggestions related to future events, potential feature stories, or the organization’s mission as a whole.
Scott’s talents will contribute to the task of maintaining the financial responsibilities of the organization. The Fort Wayne native is back in his hometown after stints in Alabama, Chicago and Indianapolis. His role with WindSwell includes preparing financial statements for board meetings and processing grant payments.
Drew and Scott look forward to working towards WindSwell’s mission of supporting children and adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities live as independently as possible, be included and involved in the community and to live their life to the fullest.
